Very amusing. Haven’t been on the receiving end myself, though.

Oh my goodness…still doesn’t top Rosie’s famous Roger’s dinosaur book or when someone (was it you?) was asked if we sell Bananas in Pyjamas sleeping bags!

I almost miss working in a bookstore. Not the customers though - despite the funny stories. I miss the old Dymocks crew. Rosie is back in Oz now after 2 years over here in the UK and working in sales but selling thousands (of dogs…really, Quarto makes dogs for other publishers) rather than ones or twos (or hundreds) of the Alienist.
