I've been getting a heap of spam from this site lately so my very clever husband has rejigged things a bit. You'll now have to log in to comment but the username and password are provided. Apologies for the inconvenience but it inconveniences me more, deleting every individual spam comment out of Movable Type.

Hi Karen, clever husband! Spam is rotten and I’ve heard some bloggers get hundreds daily.
I hope you are settling in to your new place now. All the best for your study next year. When I went back to study after a few years break, it was like a slap in the face till I settled in.
