Being idle and employed

Saturday, 19 April, 2003

Still haven't found a job yet. I am waiting to hear about one I'd really love to get because it would suit my circumstances perfectly but I won't know until the end of the month. In the meantime, this job came up on the University of Wollongong website and I decided to apply since they're considering job share applicants. It's easy and I know I could do it but it's not as flexible as the other one. I haven't been idle, though. I've finished my second article for Issue 07 (and have yet to start my third) and I've been meeting up friends to read the Bible and pray. I cope with uncertainty by not thinking about it because thinking about it makes me nervous. Yet I still want to trust in God's sovereignty, no matter what happens.
