Book mystery

Tuesday, 17 February, 2009

This is weird: since we moved and unpacked all 45 boxes of books, I know I am missing three from my library. They are:

I put all my books into LibraryThing before I packed them. So I can see I had The Black Stallion before we moved. But I did not have The Timekeeper or The Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World (nevertheless, I'm 100% certain I used to own both. Plus The Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World was a rather nice edition I picked up at Galaxy Bookshop when it used to be on York St).

Later ...

After asking on Twitter and Facebook, I've discovered who has my copy of The Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World. Yay!!! So glad it is not lost!

I hope the other two turn up some time. (The Black Stallion case is truly weird ...)

Just discovered another one is missing: Understanding Comics by Scott McCloud. *Sigh*.
