Last Tuesday I dreamt that Ben and I had moved into my Aunt's place and Pete and Erica were living in the tower. There were all these homeless people living in the back garden and I was worried about them because I still wanted them to have access to stuff even when the house was locked. We were going to have a sight-singing session up in the tower and Pete was worried about it because he couldn't do it but Susan, when she opened her mouth, sounded lovely—even on the high notes—and it made me want to sing too.
Last Wednesday I dreamt that I was a government agent and I was sent with some other guy to interview a serial killer at this house. He was the creepy normal type of serial killer—like Dr. Destiny from
Preludes and Nocturnes: Issue #6 “24 Hours”. But we didn't know that the serial killer had charmed all the other agents in the house so they were on his side and he wasn't tied to the chair and confined to that little narrow room like we thought he was; he got out and we were trying to hide behind cars to get away from him. And we did however, when we pulled up at the cemetary gates to pick up our spy, Chris, we'd discovered that he'd killed Chris and was posing as him and he got into the car and we could do nothing about it.
Last Thursday I dreamt that I went to a hair salon on the top floor of a shopping centre. Their normal quarters were being renovated so they had set up shop out on the landing where there were all these cubicles on a raised wooden platform. They put me in one and when they have finished, I found that they had braided a crown around my head, left the rest of my hair out and long and streaked parts of it dark red (the kind of red that is the colour of Josie's hair in
Josie and the Pussycats. I thought, “This is wasn't what I wanted them to do!” but I wasn't too fussed about it and I went off and was looking in a Salvation Army-type store for wool or something funny like that before realising that I was wearing a Colorado boot on one foot and a court shoe with a one and a half-inch heel on the other and somehow I'd left the other Colorado in Grace Bros.
