I love Firefox

Tuesday, 14 September, 2004

This is just a random post to say how much I love Firefox. It lets me import my IE favourites. It lets me create dividers on my link bar. I can open multiple pages in multiple tabs within the one window, or in multiple windows if I so choose. When I create folders full of favourites, it gives me the option to open ALL these favourites into multiple tabs AT ONCE! (You should see my blogroll fly! And it's great that Deb's blog now looks normal in Firefox). I like how it blocks pop-ups. I like how it has a Google toolbar. I only wish you could Google Images like you can in IE. And that PDFs would open it (for some reason, they won't at work but they will at home—what gives?) My goodness, you can get themes for it!!! (Oh, and I also like the fox!)

I was using Firebird and have been using Firefox for several months now.  Really easy, great to use and more secure than IE.  I can also do things with it without bothering my computer guru son.  At least, usually.
Shalom,
jan
