Okay, I'm through renovating. Let me know if there are any problems, design-wise. I have no idea how this looks on a Mac but, so far as I can tell, it looks all right in Firefox, Internet Explorer, Netscape, Mozilla and Opera.

I had been doing a bunch of trials myself last year. current version is here: http://129.94.222.244/weblog/blog (not up outside office hours!), but having trouble making it firefox compliant at the moment (something different between safari and firefox with the z-index stuff…??). Anyhow. great!!
