More reviews on The Passion

Monday, 08 March, 2004

In the latest Matthias Media e-news, there was a link to some reviews of The Passion of the Christ. It was interesting that much of what has been posted there echoes my thoughts on the movie (though I haven't read the entire page). On Sunday the guy who was leading the service at my church said that he would recommend taking friends who aren't Christian along to see it. I would qualify that and say only if they can handle the violence and if I'm studying the Bible with them already so that they have some sort of framework in which to place the events of the movie. Just also read this article in the SMH; my goodness, they are still claiming that the film is anti-Semitic! How thick can you get??
