This morning, instead of writing a review of Sin City for Salt, writing my newsletter or even knitting this scarf/shawl (from this book except I'm not using Ostrich; I'm using Lincraft's Funky Pom Pom and some other yarn I've forgotten the name and, as a result, it's taking 6 balls instead of 4 because I alternate every two rows), I spent this morning trying to fix my RSS Feed so that displays the blog post and not just a couple of lines of it. I also tried to fix it so that it would display the post in its entirety and not just the body—
—but the extended bit too. Unfortunately, BlogLines is a little slow to catch up (or maybe I'm just doing it wrong; highly likely). If it's not working for you, let me know. Especially let me know if you know how to fix it.

Shows the extended bit for me in BlogLines.
Yeah, it’s working Karen - and unfortunately, there is a bit of a lag in Bloglines updatess.
Working fine for me under NewsGator. Having the full post is a great improvement too…
Works fine with SharpReader, too
I’m using Thunderbird and I don’t get the text of each post, I get the whole web page. Any thoughts?
Pete - there’s a setting in Thunderbird you can change.
Have a look here: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Thunderbird_:_FAQs_:_RSS_Basics
Go down to “Other RSS Settings”. What you want to do is select “View Article Summary” rather than “Loading Webpage”
From memory, this will only effect new posts.
Thank you muchly, gentlement! I am getting a nice warm glow of satisfaction now!
