Yesterday I was going to blog about cultural backgrounds, organisation, forgiveness, affirmation and listening, but instead I chopped chicken breasts into little pieces and froze them, cooked tonight's dinner, did the laundry, cleaned the entire bathroom and vacuumed all the rooms with floorboards in my house. Oh yes, and I went to church and heard a very good sermon about “holy war” and Deuteronomy 7.
For all of you who stayed up to watch the World Cup, I thought this verse especially appropriate:
Whoever blesses his neighbour with a loud voice,
rising early in the morning,
will be counted as cursing.(Proverbs 27:14)

I wish you had blogged about all those things.
but, then, I am addicted to thinking.
Yeah, they’re more interesting to think about than housework. There’s always next time, though ...

Oh dear! I didn’t mean to give the impression that I got woken up, just that the poor people who went to bed after watching the World Cup would have been cursing whoever (or whatever) woke them up in the morning to go to work, etc. Like Seamus.
