BlogLines is making me want to post more frequently (making no promises here). I am actually reading all those blogs I usually never get around to reading. I suspect, however, that if I left cyberspace for a week, I'd go back to my old habits.
Today was productive. I wrote my review of Sin City for Salt, finished the scarf/shawl (my friends at college tell me I ought to sell it for $30 at the Moore College Winter Fair; $20, they assured me, did not adequately factor in my labour), cleaned out my inbox (somewhat) and scribbled off a Couldn't Help Noticing post. (Hmm, that sounds way too flippant and makes no mention of the blood, sweat and tears I put into my work.) I find I cannot write without deadlines. Deadlines make me productive.
Tomorrow we dine with the Pakmen. Anticipating the delights of Stacie's cooking, in the words of Neil Gaiman, “makes me very happy”.
