The Faculty of Creative Arts is putting on a play of The Little Prince, based on the book by Antoine de Saint Exupéry. I loved this book when I was a kid. I think I own three copies of it now (can't find the third, though ... wonder what I did with it ...) Though I didn't think that the Little Prince was a product of the man's hallucinations; I thought he was real. Him and his little planet with its three volcanoes (one active, two extinct, but he always cleaned the extinct ones out anyway because you never can tell) and its one flower ... there were some wonderful moments in it, like the part where this guy tries to sell the Little Prince pills that could be substituted for water, thereby saving him 10 minutes every day. When asked how he'd spend those 10 minutes, the Little Prince said he would take his time and stroll leisurely towards a nice well filled with lovely cool water.
Anyhow, details of the play are:

Oh how not fair that I am not in Australia! I LOVE THAT BOOK! We went to such efforts at Dymocks to get different colour editions
I remember you used to buy it for people whenever they had birthday parties.
I adore that book. It’s so simply innocent and poignant. Would love to see the play.
