Three Hours to Go

Thursday, 01 April, 2004

Three hours until my talk. I spent last night polishing it. I read it to Ben for feedback. There are still bits I'm not 100% happy with but I've run out of time and really need to rehearse some more this afternoon. I realise also that my talk is not going to please everyone; I read it to a friend this morning and there were bits she wasn't too happy with. Some of her reasons were valid but some were coming out of her own attitudes towards stuff which may not necessarily be the attitudes held by everyone. Fatigue is catching up with me; I feel very tired. But not nervous. Yet.

Yes, hope it all goes well. Will pray in the car on the way to uni. I’m sure it’ll be OK - you sound like you’ve put enough prep into it (!).

BTW, thanks for fixing my horizontal scroll problems.

Hi karen,
I’ve been stuck in the real world myself.  I hope and pray that the talk goes/is going/went well.
Hugs,
George
