Again, in no particular order:
I decided to restrict myself to musicals I've actually seen, otherwise all 10 would be Sondheim. I was tempted to include The Scarlet Pimpernel but I've only heard the music. I must point out that I've heard stacks of musicals, but Sondheim is by far the most original and innovative. And though Les Mis érables, Miss Saigon, Rent and other huge musicals do have merit in some way, they don't really strike the same chord with me that Sondheim does.

a slotted spoon won’t hold much soup!
PS there aren’t any Sondheim musicals on in London except A funny thing happened on the way to the forum and my dad was in a dodgy high school production of that one so i’m not to keen to see it!
Oh dear, how uncultured is London!!!
I’ve only seen a very dodgy movie of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. Unfortunately I missed my chance to see it live a couple of years ago. I think it’s actually quite witty when done well.
I know. But I’m loving it here! Had to leave all those CS Lewis books with the Into the Woods quotes at home though, Mr Spotty!
