Toying around

Tuesday, 04 October, 2005

I've started knitting this wrap jacket from Paton's Resort Knits book using 100% wool picked out by my sister-in-law. It's going to be a Christmas present for her. Yesterday I finished the back piece.

Found this sui mai toy on the Internet (part of Loobylu's September Month of Softies). Who knew food could be so incredibly cute? And how cool is this 200ft knitted bunny! (also via Loobylu).

That bunny is very cool.  It kind of reminds me of Mr Nezzer’s chocolate bunny.  I wonder if any of the people visiting it will start singing, ‘The bunny, the bunny, oh, I love the bunny…?’

My grandma knitted that jumper for me. I am finding that with Patons patterns, it is best to knit one size less than what the size you actually measure at.

That knitted bunny is so gross - they’re going to leave it out there for 20 years!! Think of all the moths that will probably lay eggs on it - a breeding ground for moths! What’s going to happen when it rains? Ew…the smell…not to mention people’s sweat all over it when they climb it…
