Who knows the way out?

Sunday, 20 November, 2005

This guy's walking down the street when he falls in a hole. The walls are so steep he can't get out.

A doctor passes by and the guy shouts up, “Hey, you! Can you help me out?”

The doctor writes a prescription, throws it down in the hole and moves on.

Then a priest comes along and the guy shouts up, “Father, I'm down in this hole. Can you help me out?”

The priest writes out a prayer, throws it down in the hole and moves on.

Then a friend walks by. “Hey, Joe, it's me. Can you help me out?”

And the friend jumps in the hole. Our guy says, “Are you stupid? Now we're both down here.”

The friend says: “Yeah, but I've been down here before and I know the way out.”

Leo to Josh! I love Josh. He’s my favourite Winger.
I’m just through series 6 - I’ve been bingeing in them.

Liwen got me onto them—lent me half of Season 2 (she can’t find Season 1 at the moment). I am hoping she’ll lend me all the others for the summer smile

Go Liwen! I’d bring my season 1 home for you when I come (in 3 weeks!) but I think I’d miss them too much in the UK.

I love House too. Since when did Hugh Laurie get to be hot?!

Where are you guys up to with House? We’ve got one episode to go until the Season 1 finale (*sob!*)

I didn’t realise that Hugh Laurie has written a book and once went out with Emma Thompson!!! (Source. Unfortunately it’s an evil flash site so it won’t let me link to the interview. Go to “All About Hugh” and then “Insight into Hugh”.)

That’s funny - we’ve just been watching some Blackadder from the library, but it took a while to connect that it was the same Hugh Laurie!

He’s awfully good, isn’t he Guan smile Have you seen him in Jeeves and Wooster too? And he played the mild-mannered father in Stuart Little.

Nice story smile

Haven’t seen Jeeves and Wooster or Stuart Little, but I can imagine he’d be great in the former. In either role, really.

I pray God gives you the rest he promises.
